Shafer Suggs (Shafer Suggs) was born on April 28, 1953 in Elkhart, Indiana. After going to high school at Central (Elkhart, IN), Suggs attended Ball State University. Suggs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Shafer Suggs's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
