Seventh Heaven For Someone Tonight

Nothing in pro sports is more exciting, more electrifying, than a seventh game in a NHL playoff series. Tonight, we get a seventh game...for the Stanley Cup. What a way for the NHL to return from its lost season, although no one in the United States is watching.
Tonight, the Carolina Hurricanes host the Edmonton Oilers for the right to have their names added to Lord Stanley's cup. The Hurricanes once had a 3-1 advantage in this series, but the Oilers have played their hearts out to take Game 5 and 6.
Sadly, it is this writer's opinion that the Oilers have left everything they had on the ice in Game 6. They will keep Game 7 competitive, may even have a lead for a while, but when the last second comes off the clock, it will be the Carolina Hurricanes who will be lifting the cup.
