Sergio Ferrer (Sergio (Marrero) Ferrer) was born on January 29, 1951 in Santurce, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on April 5, 1974 for the Minnesota Twins. Ferrer played for the Minnesota Twins and New York Mets over the course of his 4 year career.
