Sean Taylor will Avoid Jail Time

The Washington Redskins' Sean Taylor accepted a plea deal to avoid jail time. Police charged Taylor with a felony charge for assault and possession of a a firearm. Taylor will plead no contest to a midemeanor batter charge and a misdemeanor assault charge. Taylor will be fined by the NFL and may receive a suspension. However, Taylor will be at training camp.

If this was a basketball player or a baseball player the court of public opinion would have already barbequed this guy, lucky for him he's a football player and his rep wont get tarnished for this.

It is punishment enough for Taylor to play for the Redskins, coached by an over the hill Joe Gibbs and owned by Danny-Boy Snider.
