Sean Boyd (Sean Lefell Boyd) was born on December 19, 1972 in Gastonia, North Carolina. After going to high school at Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), Boyd attended the University of North Carolina. Boyd made his professional debut in the NFL in 1996 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons for his entire 1 year career.
