Born on April 11, 1970 in Joliet, Illinois, Sean Bergman (Sean Frederick Bergman) played for the Detroit Tigers, San Diego Padres, Houston Astros, Atlanta Braves and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 8 year career. Bergman broke into the bigs on July 7, 1993 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 5.12 ERA in 135.1 innings pitched in 1995, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Sean Bergman's best season was 1998, when he posted a 3.72 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 100 batters.
