Scotty Ingerton (William John Ingerton) was born on April 19, 1886 in Peninsula, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 12, 1911 for the Boston Rustlers. In 1911, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 5 home runs and 61 RBI. Ingerton played for the Boston Rustlers for his entire 1 year career.
