Scotty Bierce

Scotty Bierce (Bruce Wallace Bierce) was born on September 3, 1896 in Kearney, Nebraska. After going to high school at Cuyahoga Falls (OH), Bierce attended the University of Akron. Bierce made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Akron Pros. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Akron Pros the entire time. Bierce also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Akron Pros, Cleveland Bulldogs and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 4 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1921 was Scotty Bierce's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
