Born on March 25, 1969 in Hannibal, Missouri, Scott Sanders (Scott Gerald Sanders) played for the San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 7 year career. Sanders broke into the bigs on August 6, 1993 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 4.13 ERA in 52.1 innings pitched in 1993, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Scott Sanders's best season was 1996, when he posted a 3.38 ERA and struck out 157 batters.
