Scott Perry

Born on April 17, 1891 in Denison, Texas, Scott Perry (Herbert Scott Perry) played for the St. Louis Browns, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 7 year career. Perry broke into the bigs on May 13, 1915 with the St. Louis Browns, and put up a 1.98 ERA in 332.1 innings pitched in 1918, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Scott Perry's best season was 1918, when he posted a 1.98 ERA, won 20 games and struck out 81 batters.
