Scott Palmer (Derrell Scott Palmer) was born on September 15, 1947 in Cleburne, Texas. After going to high school at Westbury (Houston, TX), Palmer attended the University of Texas. Palmer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the New York Jets. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Jets over the course of his 2 year career.
