Born on August 9, 1971 in Fontana, California, Scott Karl (Randall Scott Karl) played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Colorado Rockies and Anaheim Angels over the course of his 6 year career. Karl broke into the bigs on May 4, 1995 with the Milwaukee Brewers, and put up a 4.14 ERA in 124 innings pitched in 1995, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Scott Karl's best season was 1996, when he posted a 4.86 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 121 batters.
