Born on February 2, 1968 in Long Beach, California, Scott Erickson (Scott Gavin Erickson) played for the Minnesota Twins, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees over the course of his 15 year career. Erickson broke into the bigs on June 25, 1990 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 2.87 ERA in 113 innings pitched in 1990, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Scott Erickson's best season was 1998, when he posted a 4.01 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 186 batters.
