Scott Blanton (Robert Scott Blanton) was born on July 1, 1973 in Norman, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Norman (OK), Blanton attended the University of Oklahoma. Blanton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1996 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1996 was Scott Blanton's best year, as he made 26 field goals.
