Scott Auer (Scott Eugene Auer) was born on October 4, 1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After going to high school at Elmhurst (Fort Wayne, IN), Auer attended Michigan State University. Auer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 2 year career.
