Saul Mielziner (Saul Robert Mielziner) was born on June 1, 1905 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Glenville (Cleveland, OH) and Kiski Prep (Saltsburg, PA), Mielziner attended Carnegie Mellon Univeristy. Mielziner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the New York Giants. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants over the course of his 6 year career.
