The Edmonton Eskimos snapped a three-game losing streak to advance out of the sole last place position in the CFL West Division. Unfortunately, that lands them in a tie for last place with the team that they defeated tonight, the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Edmonton heros, on the night, were kicker Sean Fleming and the entire defense. In the fourth quarter, Fleming kicked two field goals to lift the game out of the reach of the Roughrider offense. The Eskimo defense came up big, deep in their own territory. The 'Riders offense was stopped on the Edmonton 12, forcing a Luca Congi field goal.

Saskatchewan leader stats. Kerry Joseph was 11 of 28 for 152 yards and one interception. Kenton Kieth had 17 rushes for 103 yards and one touchdown. Jason French had 3 receptions for 64 yards and 0 touchdowns. Luca Congi went 3/3 on field goals and 1/1 on extra points.

Final stat leaders Edmonton. Ricky Ray went 21 of 31 for 236 yards with one touchdown and 2 picks. Troy Davis had 15 rushes for 91 yards and 0 touchdowns. Trevor Gaylor had 5 receptions for 77 yards and 1 touchdown. Sean Fleming went 3/3 on field goals and 2/2 on extra points.
