Born on December 23, 1952 in San Pedro de Macoris, Macoris (Dominican Republic), Santo Alcala (Santo Alcala) played for the Cincinnati Reds and Montreal Expos over the course of his 2 year career. Alcala broke into the bigs on April 10, 1976 with the Cincinnati Reds, and put up a 4.70 ERA in 132 innings pitched in 1976, his rookie year.
