Sammy Knight (Sam Knight, Jr.) was born on September 10, 1975 in Fontana, California. After going to high school at Rubidoux (Riverside, CA), Knight attended the University of Southern California. Knight made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the New Orleans Saints. He has played for the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1998 was Sammy Knight's best year, as he picked off 6 passes and ran back 2 interceptions for touchdowns.
