Sammy Green

Sammy Green (Samuel Lee Green) was born on October 12, 1954 in Bradenton, Florida. After going to high school at Fort Meade (FL), Green attended the University of Florida. Green made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Seattle Seahawks. He played for the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Oilers over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Sammy Green's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
