Sammy Drake (Samuel Harrison Drake) was born on October 7, 1934 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1960 for the Chicago Cubs. Drake played for the Chicago Cubs and New York Mets over the course of his 3 year career.
