Sam Tidmore (Samuel E. Tidmore) was born on October 28, 1938 in Decatur, Illinois. After going to high school at John Adams (Cleveland, OH), Tidmore attended Ohio State University. Tidmore made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1962 was Sam Tidmore's best year.
