Born on July 11, 1953 in Frederick, Maryland, Sam Hinds (Samuel Russell Hinds) played for the Milwaukee Brewers for his entire 1 year career. Hinds broke into the bigs on May 21, 1977 with the Milwaukee Brewers, and put up a 4.73 ERA in 72.1 innings pitched in 1977, his rookie year.
