Sam Gray (Samuel Gray) was born on January 1, 1919 in Independence, Kansas. Gray attended the University of Tulsa. Gray made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1946 was Sam Gray's best year.
