Sam Cowart (Samuel Cowart, III) was born on February 26, 1975 in Jacksonville, Florida. After going to high school at Mandarin (Jacksonville, FL), Cowart attended Florida State University. Cowart made his professional debut in the NFL in 1998 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 2000 was Sam Cowart's best year, as he recorded 5.5 sacks.
