Sam Calderone (Samuel Francis Calderone) was born on February 6, 1926 in Beverly, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1950 for the New York Giants. Calderone played for the New York Giants and Milwaukee Braves over the course of his 3 year career.
