Sam Brunelli (Samuel Aldino Brunelli) was born on February 13, 1943 in Fort Morgan, Colorado. After going to high school at Weldon Valley (Weldon, CO), Brunelli attended the University of Northern Colorado. Brunelli made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the Denver Broncos. He played in the AFL for 4 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time. Brunelli also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.

Most people believe that 1970 was Sam Brunelli's best year.
