Sam Bowers (Sam Tyrone Bowers) was born on December 22, 1957 in White Plains, New York. After going to high school at White Plains (NY), Bowers attended Fordham University, Tennessee State University and Westchester Community College. Bowers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
