Salem Ford (Salem Holland Ford) was born on February 14, 1896 in Louisville, Kentucky. After going to high school at Male (Louisville, KY), Ford attended the University of Louisville. Ford made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Louisville Brecks. He played for the Louisville Brecks for his entire 1 year career.
