Sal Marone (Salvatore John Marone) was born on August 10, 1917 in Highland Falls, New Jersey. After going to high school at Poughkeepsie (NY), Marone attended Manhattan College. Marone made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
