AFC West
San Diego Chargers (12-4): This is a tough one, but San Diego still has LT, Phillip Rivers, and Shawne Merriman. They're all good no matter what coach. The one question remains though, how will the WR position pan out for the Chargers?
Denver Broncos (9-7): I'm not so confident that Jay Cutler will succeed this year. They lost Tatum Bell, tragically lost Darrent Williams, this whole team is falling apart. Denver should finish 9-7, but sneak in the playoffs.
Kansas City Chiefs (8-8): Damon Huard is the starter, but their inconsistency on the road may cost them a trip to the playoffs.
Oakland Junior High (3-13): Not a chance in your life.
AFC East
New England Patriots (11-5): There is way too much star power for the Pats not to win this division. However, my instincts tell me that the Pats won't have this mega 16-0 or 15-1 season like these experts are saying they could have.
Miami Dolphins (8-8): I actually like the Dolphins play, especially with their new coach. He should have a decent first year as head coach with Trent Green leading the way.
Buffalo Bills (6-10): Marshawn Lynch was a good pickup, but their lack of a backup QB may hurt them in the near future. Plus, the number 6 will also solidify the number of local TV blackouts they'll have.
New York Jets (4-12): Something tells me that Chad Pennington will get injured or have another bad year. They haven't had 2 successful years in a row for quite some time.
AFC North
Baltimore Ravens (12-4): Steve McNair has proven that he still has what it take to lead his team deep into the playoffs. Willis McGahee is good, but he and Jamal Lewis are too injury prone. WR position is already strong, and Todd Heap is one of the top TE's in the NFL.
Cincinnati Convicted (10-6): They'll bounce back, trust me. Chad Johnson, Carson Palmer, Rudi Johnson, etc. The key to their season will be their pass defense.
Pittsburgh Steelers (8-8): Ben Longname is healthy again, but I think everyone has caught up with the Steelers type of play. No Ken Whisenhunt, no Bill the Chin, less trick plays, they won't make the playoffs. Watch out for Hines Ward, he'll have a breakout year.
Cleveland Browns (5-11): Brady Quinn get 4 starts, throws 6 TD's and 8 INT's. Romeo Crennel gets fired, and loses his 4 burger per day contract with Cleveland.
AFC South
Indianapolis Colts (13-3): No explanation required.
Tennessee Titans (6-10): I believe in the Madden curse.
Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11): They won't do well with 3 injury prone QB's, Jack Del Rio will be let go next year. Fred Taylor will also retire. Break out player will be Maurice Jones-Drew.
Houston Texans (4-12): No explanation required.
