For a quick recap of the rules, here they are:
Cutoff Time Rules: You have until kickoff of the game (Usually 1:00 PM EST/10:00 AM PST). If there is a 4:00 PM EST game, that can also be changed as long as the game hasn't already started. Same rules apply for MNF and other games.
For week 1, participants may pick the Thursday game first, and have the extra couple of days or so to make the Sunday and Monday picks. When there is a game on Thursday and on Saturday, you can pick the Thursday game first, then participants must make their Saturday/Sunday/Monday picks on Friday.
Picking Thread Date: Every Tuesday I’ll post the results from the previous week, along with the games to be picked for the new week in the locker room. In the event that you can’t post in the locker room, send your picks via e-mail to tjxanda@gmail.com
Point Value For Picks:
Picking the winning team: +1 point
Picking the losing team: -1 point
In the event of a tie: 0 points
Picking the winning team (playoffs): +2 points
Picking the losing team (playoffs): -2 points
Picking the winning team (Super Bowl): +5 points
Picking the losing team (Super Bowl): -5 points
Picking all the winning teams (regular season only): +4 points
Not picking at all: 0 points
Point Value for point total guessing game (MNF/Last game listed during the playoffs/Super Bowl):
Winning the MNF point total guessing game: +3 points
Winning the MNF point total guessing game and picking the winning team: +4 points
Winning the MNF point total guessing game but picking the losing team: +2 points
Winning the playoff point total guessing game and picking the winning team: +5 points
Winning the playoff point total guessing game but picking the losing team: +3 points
Winning the Super Bowl point total guessing game and picking the winning team: +8 points
Winning the Super Bowl point total guessing game but picking the losing team: -2 points
Tie breaking Rules:
In the event that multiple users both pick the same amount of points for the Monday Night game (and were both the closest), the person with the most points gathered from Sunday wins the tiebreaker. In the event that multiple members are tied for closest and tied for points from Sunday, then each get 3 points. There can be co-winners in this competition.
