Born on February 10, 1968 in Hanford, California, Ryan Bowen (Ryan Eugene Bowen) played for the Houston Astros and Florida Marlins over the course of his 5 year career. Bowen broke into the bigs on July 22, 1991 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 5.15 ERA in 71.2 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Ryan Bowen's best season was 1993, when he posted a 4.42 ERA and struck out 98 batters.
