Rusty Torres (Rosendo (Hernandez) Torres) was born on September 30, 1948 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on September 20, 1971 for the New York Yankees. In 1972, his rookie year, he hit .211 with 3 home runs and 13 RBI. Torres played for the New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, California Angels, Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 9 year career.
