Rusty Chambers (Russell Francis Chambers) was born on November 10, 1953 in Amite, Louisiana. After going to high school at Loranger (LA), Chambers attended Tulane University. Chambers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1975 was Rusty Chambers's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
