Russell Maryland (Russell James Maryland) was born on March 22, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Whitney Young (Chicago, IL), Maryland attended the University of Miami. Maryland made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1992 was Russell Maryland's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
