Russell Hairston (Russell Jonathan Hairston) was born on February 10, 1964. After going to high school at Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD), Hairston attended the University of Kentucky. Hairston made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
