Russell Copeland (Russell S. Copeland) was born on November 4, 1971 in Tupelo, Mississippi. After going to high school at Tupelo (Tupelo, MS), Copeland attended the University of Memphis. Copeland made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1995 was Russell Copeland's best year, as he hauled in 42 receptions and had 646 receiving yards.
