Russ Branyan (Russell Oles Branyan) was born on December 19, 1975 in Warner Robins, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on September 26, 1998 for the Cleveland Indians. In 2000, his rookie year, he hit .238 with 16 home runs and 38 RBI. Branyan played for the Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, Tampa Bay Devil Rays and San Diego Padres over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Russ Branyan's best season was 2002, when he slugged 24 home runs and knocked in 56 runs.
