Russ Young (Russell Charles Young) was born on September 15, 1902 in Bryan, Ohio. After going to high school at Stivers (Dayton, OH), Young attended none. Young made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Dayton Triangles. He played for the Dayton Triangles for his entire 1 year career.
