Russ Method (Russell G. Method) was born on June 27, 1897 in Duluth, Minnesota. After going to high school at Denfeld (Duluth, MN), Method attended none. Method made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Duluth Kelleys. He played for the Duluth Kelleys, Duluth Eskimos and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career.
