Russ Cotton (Russell Cotton) was born on May 24, 1915 in Palestine, Texas. Cotton attended the University of Texas-El Paso. Cotton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1942 was Russ Cotton's best year.
