Russ Carroccio (Russell B. Carroccio) was born on April 28, 1931. After going to high school at Passaic (NJ), Carroccio attended the University of Virginia. Carroccio made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the New York Giants. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1954 was Russ Carroccio's best year.
