Russ Blailock (William Russell Blailock, Jr.) was born on June 29, 1902 in McGregor, Texas. After going to high school at McGregor (TX), Blailock attended Baylor University. Blailock made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Milwaukee Badgers. He played for the Akron Pros and Milwaukee Badgers over the course of his 2 year career.
