Rumor Mill: Kidd to the Lakers

According to Yahoo Sports, the New Jersey Nets are seriously considering a deal that would send All-Star point guard Jason Kidd to the Los Angeles Lakers.
In return the Lakers would send two first-round draft picks and the expiring contracts of Chris Mihm and Aaron McKie. Rookie point guard Jordan Farmar and injured center Kwame Brown could also be included in the deal. The Lakers could also receive Nets Center Jason Collins.
Note to Laker fans: Don't expect this deal to come through. The Lakers haven't made a deadline deal since acquiring Glen Rice in the 1999 season. However, a deal not including Jordan Farmar and/or Kwame Brown would be very enticing.
