Rules the NFL needs to change

1. Get rid of the tuck rule. This is not directed toward the Patriots, but if a QB tucks the ball, has stopped his throwing rotation, how is that an incomplete pass? A fumble is a fumble, not a rule that can bend around the idea of a fumble.
2. Fix the roughing the passer calls. It's one thing if a QB throws the ball, then gets blatantly hit 3 seconds later. But it's another thing, to have the ball thrown, and have a little tap on the head equal an automatic first down. They need to fix that one.
3. No more coin tosses to decide who gets the ball first. For the 34 people that watched the XFL, you noticed that you would have two guys running after the football right? Coin tosses are for sissies, let them get the football themselves.
4. NFL Network dude Bryant Gumbel. It's bad enough that all the cable companies are making you pay to watch the NFL Network. It's also bad that the NFL can't think out of the box and stupidly decide put the online stream to NFL Network subscribers only. But why did they feel Bryant Gumbel was the best option for play-by-play? I'm not saying get rid of him (although he is awful), but let us at least hear him screw up on TV so we bloggers can write about it in the morning.
Any more suggestions?
