Rugby Players Feel No Pain — Ever

Sure, you can talk about football and hockey players all you want, but when it comes to toughness, nobody comes close to professional rugby players. (Except maybe amateur rugby players. You know, lack of oversight and all that.)

Seems that Ben Czislowski, a 24-year-old Australian-based player, had an opponent's tooth lodged his cranium for three months. He just had it removed, after a visit to the doctor regarding headaches. (No way, really?) Said Czislowski, not doubt with a (yes) toothy grin:

> "I can laugh about it now, but the doctor told me it could have been serious, with teeth carrying germs. ... I've got the tooth at home, sitting on the bedside table. If he wants it back he can have it. I'm keeping it at the moment as proof that it actually happened."

No, that's OK. We believe you. Would a mullet like that lie?

If your brain is mush and you are mentally retarded doesn't mean you are tough and cool-

Hell, people who are vegetables don't feel any pain- same logic.

This guy is ranks one step up from being a vegetable

Seriously I just don't think getting a freakin tooth stuck in your head and going "duhh duhhh my head no feel good" is a sign of toughness. Now playing a broken bones, sprained/strained ligaments and tendons, concussions, shit like that is tough. This just shows this guy is stupid- kind of like some of the admins here!

I once played rollerball with a hyperextended knee. I just poured whiskey on it and kept going.

I would never question a ruggers toughness. If he is playing with a tooth stuck in his forehead i gurante he has some broken ribs and other knocks

Doesn't necessarily surprise me. ESPN reported that he got stitched up on the sideline then went back into the game; so if no one said anything to him when they stitched it he probably just didnt really think anything of it. Headaches? Lets imagine how many concussions this guy has had. Good story though.
