Rufus Granderson (Rufus Will Granderson) was born on August 13, 1936 in Waco, Texas. After going to high school at Temple (TX), Granderson attended Prairie View A&M University. Granderson made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Dallas Texans. He played for the Dallas Texans for his entire 1 year career.
