Rudy Holmes (Rudell Leron Holmes) was born on July 19, 1952 in Oakland, California. After going to high school at Mission Viejo (CA), Holmes attended Drake University and Saddleback College. Holmes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons for his entire 1 year career.
