Rube Lutzke (Walter John Lutzke) was born on November 17, 1897 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1923 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1923, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 3 home runs and 65 RBI. Lutzke played for the Cleveland Indians for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that Rube Lutzke's best season was 1923, when he knocked in 65 runs.
